Byju’s delays clearance of final dues of a batch of its laid off employees to November
Edtech firm Byju's has deferred clearing the final dues of its laid-off employees until November. The company had laid off 500-1,000 employees in June as part of cost-cutting measures. The employees were originally supposed to receive their final settlements in September. Byju's is currently trying to sell its units Great Learning and Epic to repay a $1.2 billion term loan.
