Glencore eyes options on battery recycling project
Glencore has decided to move the testing for its battery recycling centre project away from its current site in Italy, according to a statement made to AFP by the Swiss commodities company on Thursday. Despite this move, Glencore is still exploring the possibility of establishing a large centre in Italy. Glencore in May announced that it was teaming up with the Canadian recycling company to launch a feasibility study into building a European lithium battery recycling centre at Portovesme.
