'I'm not dead,' Thai hostage says after 'miracle' release in Gaza

Thai farm worker Vetoon Phoome, who was feared dead after being captured by Hamas in Gaza, has been freed and reunited with his family in Thailand. Vetoon, one of 10 Thai hostages released during a truce in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, had been held in tunnels but was not injured or tortured. The Thai hostages will return home after 48 hours in hospital. Thailand's government said 20 nationals remain captive and called for their release. About 30,000 Thai migrant workers, many in agriculture, are employed in Israel.
