India at Asian Games 2022, Sept 24: Men’s table tennis team reaches QFs; Preeti wins in boxing

Table Tennis: The Indian men’s team will take on South Korea in the quarter-final at 4PM IST. India had lost to the Koreans in the semi-final at Jakarta 2018.

Sailing: After 11 races in the men’s windsurfer RS:X event, Eabad Ali is fourth out of six sailors with two more races to go before the medal race. In the women’s windsurfer RS:X event, Ishwariya Ganesh is fourth out of four racers at the end of 11 races.

In the Mixed Dinghy - 470 event, the pair of Preethi Kongara and Sudhanshu Shekhar are fifth out of seven teams after eight races. There are three more races to go before the medal race. Siddeshwar Doiphode and Ramya Saravanan are fourth out five teams in the Mixed Multihull - Nacra 17 event after 10 races. There are four more races to go including the medal race.

Chitresh Tatha finds himself bottom of the seven-sailor field in the Men’s Kite - IKA Formula Kite event after 14 races. Two more races await Tatha before the medal race
