Israel army confirms refugee camp bombing to kill Hamas commander
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) claimed to have killed Hamas commander Ibrahim Biari in a strike in the Gaza Strip. Hamas denied his presence in the camp, but IDF said Biari was responsible for sending terrorists to carry out an attack on Israel. The strike targeted Hamas command and control, damaging their ability to direct military activity. Around 50 people were reportedly killed in the strike. IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said the fighting in Gaza is becoming more complex as soldiers operate deeper into the region.
