Musk's x AI set to launch first AI model to select group
Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI is set to release its first AI model to a select group on Saturday. This follows the success of OpenAI's ChatGPT, which saw a surge in adoption of generative AI technology. Musk, who co-founded OpenAI, stated that xAI's new model is one of the best available. Once out of beta, xAI's Grok system will be available to all X Premium+ subscribers. xAI works closely with Tesla and other companies, and has also signed a contract with Oracle to train its AI model on the cloud.
