Pakistani classical dancer Sheema Khermani 'ejected' from UK mission for raising pro-Palestine slogan
Sheema Khermani, a Pakistani classical dancer and founder of Tehrik-i-Niswan, was reportedly ejected from a program at the British Deputy High Commission in Karachi after raising pro-Palestine slogans. Khermani said she raised the slogan "Ceasefire Now" during speeches and felicitations to Britain, prompting security personnel to approach her. Khermani expressed disappointment that none of the other guests took a stand or joined her.
