Polish opposition parties have signed a coalition agreement, outlining plans for governing the country for the next four years. The parties, which collectively won a majority of votes in last month's election, have chosen Donald Tusk as their candidate for prime minister. The conservative party that has governed for the past eight years, Law and Justice, won the most votes but lacks a coalition partner. President Andrzej Duda has given the current prime minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, a chance to try to form a government, although it is widely believed to be unsuccessful.
