US plans to send Ukraine cluster munitions: Officials
The US is considering sending cluster munitions to Ukraine as part of a weapons aid package which also includes High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, ground vehicles such as Bradley fighting vehicles, and Stryker armored personnel carriers. The package is expected to be worth up to $800m and would provide a significant boost to Ukraine’s counteroffensive against Russian forces.
